Chartered Mediator Designation

I am proud to announce that I was recently awarded the professional designation of Chartered Mediator (C. Med) by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada.  The C. Med designation is Canada's only official designation for practising mediators.  In order to qualify for the designation, applicants must meet extensive training and experience requirements.

Mediators need not be chartered in order to offer mediation services and, in fact, additional skills and competencies may be desirable for mediation in specific areas.  However, the C. Med designation recognizes a "generalist competence" at a high level and assists the public in finding experienced and qualified mediators.

The C. Med designation is known and respected across Canada and internationally, and it is the most senior designation offered by the Institute. To learn more about the C. Med designation, please click here.
